The Corporate Safety and Security Directors are responsible for the safety and health of company employees.
Safety & Security in the Workplace include the following: Computer and Internet-related activity; prevention of theft and fraud; prevention of violence; electronic security systems and alarms; providing and/or restricting access to various parts of the physical facility; protection of company secrets, trademarks and copyrights.
These Corporate Safety and Security Directors will enforce rules and policies, physical security measures such as locks and alarms and devise plans to be enacted in the event of an emergency.
Corporate Safety and Security Directors adhere to guides set by OSHA. They help employers get hazardous materials and circumstances out of the workplace, help to keep workers from being injured, killed or becoming sick, and take responsibility for safety in the workplace.
